Known as "harnup powder" in some regions, carob is one of the oldest plants in the world, native to Cyprus, Greece, Spain, Southern Turkey, Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, Libya, and Palestine. In Turkey, it grows naturally along the coastlines of Mersin, Silifke, Datça, and Antalya. Carob trees do not bear fruit for the first 15 years. The fruits start green and turn brown as they mature, becoming shiny brown when fully ripe.
Organic carob flour is especially delicious when mixed with honey, molasses, and tahini, making a healthy breakfast option. For a chocolate milk alternative for your children, try adding organic carob flour and honey to milk.

Known for its health benefits for centuries, carob flour remains one of the most natural products available today. Our carob flour, grown naturally and known for its healing properties, is entirely organic and natural.
