Tarhana soup was considered an important source of nutrition in ancient Turkish societies and was frequently consumed, especially during the winter months. It continues to be popular today, particularly in rural areas and during cold weather. When preparing tarhana soup for babies, it is recommended to soak it beforehand and cook it. Additionally, bone broth, chicken broth, or milk can be added to the soup.
