With golden sparkles, this natural treasure is a type of yeast (microscopic and unicellular fungus) called Saccharomyces cerevisiae. It is cultivated in a mixture of sugar cane and sugar beet molasses to which is added the precious Vitamin B12 (an ESSENTIAL nutrient for those who follow a vegan and vegetarian diet as it is mainly present in animal foods). Its flavor reminds us of nuts and cured cheeses, being widely used in cooking to flavor some preparations such as sauces, salads, creams, etc.. It has a high content of B vitamins essential for the nervous system and metabolism, in addition to its high protein content.
