ORGANIC TOMATO PASSATA ^Sale

These organic native tomatoes are hand-picked so that selection of only ripe tomatoes is guaranteed and ensures that the best quality gets used in the final product. The yield is low as the hilly landscape is not workable with heavy machinery and, due to the ‘terroir’, the quality of the fruit is very high. No chemical fertilizers are used and no irrigation (which can plump the fruits but dilute the flavour). The respect of strict procedures for the cultivation of the vines makes this product naturally sweet, low in acidity, high in Lycopene and antioxidant qualities.
