Clearspring Japanese Noodles are made to traditional recipes, and are all egg-free, vegan and are certified organic.
The range includes two varieties of thick, silky textured udon wheat noodles, and two types of thin, nutty tasting soba buckwheat noodles. Each has its own flavour and texture and preparation method, so that you can create authentic and flavourful Noodle dishes easily at home.
The range also includes a Gluten Free 100% Buckwheat Soba Noodles SKU. It is delicious, versatile and wheat free with a rich, nutty buckwheat taste - known as 'Juwari Soba' in Japanese, meaning 100% soba. As buckwheat does not contain any gluten or binding agents it requires great skill and time to produce these hearty popular noodles.
The grain is milled several times so that the noodles, although being wholegrain, have a delicious soft texture which absorb the flavours of the broth or dressings they are served with.
