HBTL sources its organic Dhatelo oil from the remote and prestine North-west Himalaya of Nepal. Dhatelo is abundantly distributed in open areas in wild as well as planted as a fence in cultivated lands. It is estimated about 25-30% of oil can be extracted from fully ripe dried seeds. Based on the resource availability of Dhatelo in Nepal, it is estimated about 20 tons of Dhatelo oil can be obtained per year.
