Centuries ago, this oil was only served at the royal court and was called "imperial delicacy." Today, despite the availability, mustard seed oil remains an exotic delicacy for many. It is a vegetable oil that is rich in bioactive substances needed by the human body every day ("plant hormones", phytosterols). Phytosterols have antibacterial and anti-tumor properties, lower levels of "harmful" cholesterol and improve skin condition. It is full of vitamin A, which contributes to growth of the body and strengthens the immune system, vitamins C and E, which improve the strength of capillaries and contains general strengthening ingredient - carotene. In addition, mustard oil contains vitamin B6, which plays an important role in metabolism, is involved in the formation of hemoglobin and improves the function of the central and peripheral nervous system (vitamin B6 is a natural anti-depressant). Mustard oil is a good source of essential fatty acids such as Omega-3 and Omega-6 along with linseed/flaxseed oil and fish oil. They help balance function of the cardiovascular system (prevent the development of atherosclerosis, laying cholesterol plaques in blood vessels, reduce blood viscosity and increases the elasticity of blood vessels ii) normalization of lipid metabolism, improve the function of the digestive system, support normal hormonal balance, improve sexual function, nervous and endocrine systems. Mustard oil enhances resistance to infection, septic and has antibacterial properties. It is a common treatment for cuts, and other traumatic skin lesions. The external application of mustard oil warms the skin, helping improve circulation at the location of the inflammatory process. In addition, analgesic, antibacterial and anti-swelling anticancer properties are inherent to mustard oil. And that’s precisely why it is a component of most medicinal ointments and creams intended for the treatment of gout, myositis, rheumatism and sciatica. Mustard oil is ideally suited for seasoning salads. Meat and fish dishes also obtain particularly pleasant taste. Storage: Store closed in a dark room at a temperature of +8 to +20 degrees. Harmless natural sediment might appear during storage. Can be stored unopened for up to two years.
